    I am starting a new 6 week group program for women that may identify with:

  • Anorexia Nervosa
  • Bulimia Nervosa
  • Binge Eating Disorder
  • Body Image Issues

This group will NOT be focused around calories, diet, weight and numbers. I am offering a holistic approach to treatment, with a focus on the underlying issues and problems that may be getting in the way of recovery, rather than a surface level solution that only treats the symptoms.

More Than Support

I believe food and diets are the distracting elements that take us away from being able to pay attention to the real issues. Not dissimilar to other addictions, I believe food is a process addiction and getting to the core of the underlying feelings, beliefs, issues around self-worth/self-esteem and developmental trauma is the way to resolve the struggle around food.
My program offers you a chance to take the focus away from dieting and numbers and try instead to reintegrate you with your feelings, body and spirit. Eating disorder separates one from oneself and treatment is about reintegration and reconnection with self.
Having an eating disorder does not mean that you are broken or damaged in some way. Having issues with food is symbolic of something deeper that is going on inside yourself. Recovery is therefore about understanding the meaning behind your struggle with food, becoming intuitive and learning to nurture oneself.

    During this program you will gain skills such as:
